Mockup is a template on how exactly your design will look if printed as a t-shirt design, business card or book cover. As I earlier said using mockups you can show design with real objects.
Using mockup can give your client a better look at your designs and images and help you judge if your design is perfect.
There are plenty of websites available for free download mockups. My favourite is freepik.com which have tons of free and premium mockups to any kind of design.
After choosing a suitable mockup click download.Most of the time Mockups are downloaded as Zip files.
1.Extract downloaded file.I used WinRAR software to unzip file and it’s totally free software.
2.Open the PSD file through Photoshop.
3.Most of the mockups will be shown where you can change the design. Double Click on the thumbnail where you can edit the mockup.
4.After double clicking a new window will be open in Photoshop. Now just drag and drop your logo or your design.
In this window you can change colors or sizes and blending adjustment for your design.
5.Finally press Ctrl+S and close the window
You do not need to make any color or blending adjustments, it will automatically match the background.
