Facebook has announced that they are going to integrate messenger with Instagram DM(direct message)Therefore messenger logo colour changed from solid blue colour to blue-pink gradient which is similar to Instagram logo.
“Our new logo reflects a shift to the future of messaging, a more dynamic, fun, and integrated way to stay connected to the people you’re close to. We hope you like it as much as we do.” explained by messengernews.
Now user can send Instagram messages through messenger app from new update. Currently this update will be available to users in North America soon and globally in the coming months.

According to the video new messenger has added more new features like selfie stickers, chat themes and chat room mode. Facebook will also launch a new feature is message vanishing mode, which will make messages disappear when you leave the chat or view them.
